I am trying to book a Europe to Perth return leg in J for next year. There are 2 problems I am having.
Firstly, the system is only allowing the full flight to be booked 353 days out, whereas the individual legs are available 355 days out. Previously I could book a full return eg MUC to PER 354 days out.
Secondly when trying to book the flights as separate legs, the SIN/PER availability is very poor. The past 2 days I have attempted to book the SIN/PER leg at exactly 08:00 Perth time when they are released, and both days all three flights are weight listed in both saver and advantage. Other days some flights have been available, but the 09:30 (which is the best for connection time from Europe) is always weight listed even if I try at 08:00 355 days out.
Are SQ allowing people with status early access to redemption booking the same as QF? Or are they just not releasing flights that they may sell easily?
