Entertainment Promotions was acquired by Indiana-based private equity firm MH Equity Investors in 2008 for $36 million. The company, founded in 1962, publishes the Entertainment coupon book, a compilation of coupons for local services and restaurants frequently sold as fundraisers by schools and youth groups. The books and other promotions are distributed in 149 markets throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia and New Zealand. According to the Entertainment Promotions website, the company has 520 employees, including 240 in Troy.
