No J Award Availability from Japan Sept/Oct 16? (RedRoo, help please!)

I have been checking daily as advised by the QFF call centre, but why is it that QF has not released any J award seats for the entire month of September and all of October so far? I was advised 'we release seats up to 353 (11 months) in advance'.

Anything that can be followed up?

Not for the entire time, and not after the QFF Call Centre told me that the inventory has not been made available. I'm trying to find out why, and if it's an oversight, can they please release it so I can book my tickets.

Theres plenty of times when I haven't been able to book an award flight. Which airline? Only Qantas release this far in advance. Emirates for instance is 330 days approx.

Thanks, there's a number of routes I could go.

The main point of this post is that QF has not released their J Award Seats - i.e. No one can book them. And this is for the entire month of September and October. You can get flights from 31 August 16 back, but not forward.

The main point of this post is that QF has not released their J Award Seats - i.e. No one can book them. And this is for the entire month of September and October. You can get flights from 31 August 16 back, but not forward.

I expect that they will all be released together in a block at some point in the future. If you have an Expert Flyer account, you may want to set an alert so that you'll be the first to know when/if that happens.

Of course, that's just my opinion - it's not guaranteed. So you may wish to book via Hong Kong now instead if you're not prepared to take that risk. (Or, book now via HKG and pay the 5,000 point penalty if seats from Japan are released at a later date.)
