I have some xCIR22 questions up my sleeve just in case... :D Something tells me I won't need them though - the magic 2000 looks like it will happen before my prediction.

A golf ball runs a long way yet it has no legs.
Not when I swing the club, it doesn't. And sometimes I am sure it has legs as it jumps sideways off that little upturned hat its supposed to sit still on while waiting for me to clobber it into the ground or send it sailing for a wash in the creek/lake.

Well anyway my golf balls run a long way but I never mentioned which direction they run. :?

Its not the ball that has legs. It is the golfing gnome. Wears special refractive and green clothing hence hard to see. Too cheap to get his own balls so just uses players balls instead. He's quick and ambidextrous so mostly gets a swing just as you're doing your own, facing the other way.

That's why when learning, novices are told to watch the ball at all times before, during and after the swing...

I know a golfer that must have a pact with this gnome, when he enters the shrubbery to look for a ball, he always returns with a few others as well. :?
