Have seen this being pushed pretty hard at several restaurants so finally gave it a whirl. I'd call it an entry level champagne. Decent enough if the price is right, but certainly not something I'd seek out.

At our local Dans they had that on tasting before xmas.As said it really is only an entry level wine at best.Penfolds should just stick to still wines.

Back when worked the bottlo in the 90s we called Moet the "Seaview Brut of France". This'd be the 'Yellowglen of France".

I’ve heard Moet called the VB of champagnes. The Penfolds might be the Great Northern…
