Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

It's a seriously underrated wine IMHO.
Not by me. Been drinking periodically over the years when I can’t get La Tour (where we had a personal tour in the 80’s). I remember the Chatau La Tour we had first in restaurant in Alfriston East Sussex around 1979 when I was post doc at Sussex, ( my uncle was visiting and it cost £25, and at Eastwell manor in Sussex for Xmas in 2009 for £250).

Too expensive now but Les Forts is approachable. Les Forts used to be cheap. 🙀

Had this memorable bottle in HK in 2014. Also picked up a magnum of the 2009 a while back when Vintage Cellars had a 20% off sales. The Shenton Park store used to have quite a decent cellar back then.

An unusual one....it survived the journey back home in my suitcase, Rmo-Vie-Fco-Hel-Hkg--Mel-Syd!
