After finally buying a wine cellar, I packed it with my meagre collection of reds and whites. Now that I have become semi-serious, I loaded the Cellar Tracker app onto my phone and input the details of what I had. The indicative drinking dates was handy, rather than me guessing.
The Clonakilla Ceoltoiri 2015 that I received as a gift, showed as drink between 2016-2021. And they were right. It was definitely out of time - flat & brown.
The 2009 Bin 28 thankfully was brilliant. Lovely balance, color, long, lingering flavor. MrsK and I enjoyed it over a couple of nights.

Now that I have cleared out a few spots, I'll have to go exploring for replacements.

I opened a 2008 Bin 28 afew nights ago, somewhat tentatively as thought it might be gone. But like your 2009, also drinking really well.

Awesome drop the Bin 28 we had an 08 the other night. Singing and still very vibrant and fresh.

We usually drink Riesling or Viognier with Asian food. This time I was looking for something different to bring to a nice Thai restaurant which will also be in the spirit of the silly season. SBS turned out to be a great match 👌

I’m going to get a few early in the new year, I’ll admit I don’t generally purchase the black! Very special bottle, when we tasted earlier this year I thought it was delightful.

I rolled my ankle on a run in Macao on Monday. Found out yesterday this is the situation :(

For the non-medicos, fracture where the arrow is. Hopefully this raises the spirits with the prospect of a moonboot for the summer. Last bottle of the 2008
