The bogan really not a bad wine but I don’t found them that enjoyable anymore. The bin 9 are the real surprise.

The private bin and hector aren’t going anywhere, with the high acidity and screwcap, just hard to see when’s the peak of these wines.

I vaguely remember the story about the private bin being worth as much as grange back in the 60’s. By going nowhere do you mean no further improvements or still has a while to further develop?

One of tulloch family member did work for penfolds somewhere in the early 50’s,not sure what wines are worth back in the days. The 1990 grange cost around $100 on release and the private bin probably cost around $25-$30, I can still afford the private bin nowadays and never bought a bottle of grange yet.
What I mean was it is still very young, hardly any developments in that bottle, I’m hoping it will improve overtime but that acidity is not going anywhere either , some lucky people still drinking their 54’ dry red to this date. The acidity makes the wine alive for a very long time.
