Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

Still drinking this as I write.
WOW!! A $9.50 or so wine from the Fo, $26 cellar door.
Great mouth feel, nice tannins that scream cellar me and I'll reward you, magnificent Shiraz finish on the palate, rich and fruity. Gee I hope you all got some.

I'm in a frontier-type town called Ely in far NE Minnesota. Dining options limited and standardised and the wine list at this joint is 4 whites and 4 reds.

I'm having fish (the famed local Walleye) again tonight, so chose the Bluemoon Oregon Riesling. Light is fading, but get the gorgeous blue bottle!

Contents are bearable and self-described as 'medium dry'. More medium than dry, I would say...

I should have added that the restaurants up here CLOSE at 9pm! I'm accustomed to restaurants that OPEN at 9 pm...

All good fun!

Just refreshed supplies or our "house white" with the 2013 release.

Very nice, lots of limes, lemons, peach tones, acidity. Should cellar well, if they last that long without being consumed. Less buttery tones than the 2012s.
