Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

To me it’s hard to drink a good wine. Tonight this is a delicious, well balanced wine. Beautiful colour, purple hue(the Pooh to can’t show it) indicates it’s young. Blackcurrant, mulberry, some herb. Smooth and ripe tannic, mellow. I am totally enjoy it.

WA Evans & Tate Cloud Dancer Shiraz 2015. Excellent drop :)

Contrary to a mature Shiraz (given it's vintage), this wine was very light & fruity. The nose was very pleasant and not-punch-you-in-the-face Shiraz'y. Palette - currants, honey and more importantly & surprisingly, fizz ...

A strong contender to many other mature Shiraz'es in the market and a very welcoming drink for newbies to bold reds. A must try, IMHO.

Not a huge knowledge of Spanish wines but enjoyed this for Father's Day sharing tapas with 3 of my 4 boys

Visited in May ’18. Lovely wines and interesting Bodegas beneath the castle at Peñafiel Valladolid. (DO Ribera del Duero)

Fair bit of love for the Kumeu at the moment, tried the 2020 Hunting Hill and thought it was pretty good - precise, but powerful? Worked well without and with food.

Previously had only Village/Estate (the latter a clear step above). However, the SVs are even more compelling, though whether more than double the Estate is a question mark.

Anyone tasted across 19, 20, 21?
