Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

I’m still waiting to drink my 2004’s , I guess if you have more than a bottle ,a causal treats doesn’t hurt, should taste better by tomorrow.

Do try one. The bigger Sin with wines is keeping them too long.

remember “if you don’t fly first class, your children will.”

I’ve already had a msg from medical son of good friends showing me his new cellar and saying “ don’t worry if CV19 gets you, I have left plenty of storage for you wines!”.

May I suggest you to start saving up empty wine bottles now and tell them they will get your bottles, but bottles only.

the StHenri has opened up nicely and went well with dinner.
Did you use red wine or stout to cook these sausages ?

Picked this up yesterday at Dan's as a bin end clearance. $25 down from $80. 2010 was a brilliant vintage in Bordeaux. This is classic Margaux. At $80 I'd be happy with this wine!

My local dan’s bin end always loaded with supermarket brands, the best thing I found was a mcguigan black label.

Not too sure to be honest. I know 2007 was a pretty average vintage for reds. Stretching the memory but I think quite drought affected.

I’m drinking a Wynn’s black label cab. now, I remember there were frost damages around Coonawarra, not sure about the rest of the SA. state.

2010 was a fabulous vintage for France, Italy and Willamette Valley wines.

We have drunk all our good wine and now on the 6 for $36 from First Choice.
Len Evans!!

See pm for address :) :)

opened an hr ago. Still very tannic and dry. Never actually been a fan of this wine. Have now given up buying them, particularly at the current prices. Have case of 2010 & 2015 as well I think plus some 10-15 year ones in fridge. (Used to buy all Penfolds reds each year.)

Looking fwd to the sausages! Enjoy yours!

Mmm - I've checked my junk mail and my messages and don't seem to have your address yet. But then again I'd have to get on a plane and that isn't happening at the moment. Can I take a rain check?

They look like the ones I had a couple of weeks ago. Just as I finished dinner tonight I thought - whoops forgot the photo. I'm trying to take a photo everyday of what I'm cooking and doing. Today it was crumpet and soup making.
