Seven, which recorded gains in its news and current affairs this year, goes into 2007 with the AFL rights and some of the best new shows in the US including Ugly Betty, Heroes and Shark. Nine's big guns include Jetstar that goes behind the scenes of an international airline and The Dame Edna Everage Experience.
 
I think this is a risky venture for JQ. Unless they can guarantee that only the good things will be shown, it might put some of their potential passengers right off.

On the one hand I agree with the sentiment, but on the other hand I am sure nine will not want to do anything that puts advertising revenue at risk.

Ah, yes! Good point. In a similar vein, you'd never see an adverse report about gambling or casinos on Channel 9. :)
