When is the next QF domestic sale?

It seems excessively expensive to fly from PER at the moment on Red-E-Deals:

PER SYD $281
PER MEL $276
PER BNE $331
PER CNS $391

I thought PER SYD was ususually around $200

PER to BNE has hovered between $299 and $331 for the last 12 months. I seriously doubt that QF would have been $200 to Sydney. I thought $260-$280 was their normal non-sale red-e-deal. Hence what you are seeing.

The sales have been creeping up in price and reducing in frequency. I don't get the prices ex-PER, but I doubt when on sale that they'd go below about $250 for PER-SYD.

There was a sale in Early May where MEL/PER was $209. I'm looking for the email regarding the sale that finished on 28th June.

The O class fare went from $275 to $281 with the last round of price increases on red-e-deals not so long ago. Sale prices have been $209 in recent sales, but were up to $219 at one stage.

The sale that ended a week ago was $198 MEL/PER, I assume SYD/MEL was similarly priced.

Last sale was $209. Brisbane seems a little out of kilter with the rest.

Seats on sale until midnight (AEST) Thursday 28 June 2007 or until sold out.
These specials are valid for travel from Tuesday 17 July until Thursday 13 September 2007 and from Tuesday 16 October until Thursday 13 December 2007 (unless specified).
Hurry - seats are limited.
Perth to One-way from
Adelaide $189
Melbourne $198
Broome $199^
Sydney $209
Brisbane $289
Broome to One-way from
Perth $199^

I would imagine simply due to supply and demand. If a route is a bit empty then apply a nice discount and people will consider travel :)
