New Qantas Uniform

I saw the uniform tonight at MEL.. It does look good! Spoke to an FA last night, they are all excited about it.

Bjet, yes there is an air chef uniform - I remember seeing it in the video on the QF website

... with all the glitz n glamour of the launch i didnt notice that!!

.. and all the info supplied doesnt mention an apron... maybe an apron over 'Paris chic' is 'SACRE BLEU'!! :shock:

the 'air chef' uniform you may be referring to is the 'inflight uniform' ie 'serving jackets' (the high buttoned garments with the little red triangle on the high collar) ... that is worn by J/C, P/C cabin crew inflight

Yes.... apron is for Y cabin crews in both international and domestic flights.

Chef uniform/jacket is for Business and First class on the international flights only.

Sometimes, Y cabin crews can ask First/Business cabin crews for help.

Dear Red Roo (Santa),

I've been a very loyal FF this year and flown lots of lots of miles on your sleigh (aircraft). What are the chances of you sending the new trench coat my way? They are pretty schmick. I see all these celebrities receiving them, but alas no love for me. Early Christmas present? I promise to play nice and funnel lots of bookings your way next year!

I'll leave you a gallon of avgas out for the reindeer (engines)!

I wouldn't mind one either, after all it's free advertising for QF. Maybe put a Kangaroo in the red triangle for the ones that don't go to staff

Also wouldn't mind some of those ties or those shoes, oh what the heck just give me the uniform for free.

They don't seem much more hugging than the existing uniforms prescribed to the FAs. They'd be rather silly to make it much tighter, as the FAs are right - they need that mobility to do their jobs effectively! (Cue people saying those complaining FAs either need to retire for being too old or just have to get into shape...)
