A question about crediting of DSCs.

If I have a flight near my FF anniversary, will the extra status apply to the FF year the flight was in, or the FF year the status credits hit my account ?

Just trying to work out some flight schedules (for the next DSC offer) and want to make sure the credits don't fall across 2 FF years.

The day the flight was taken counts towards where it is accounted for - so it will be backdated if it takes a few days/weeks to credit.
