Get your grumpy pants off, the post you have quoted is using a number of puns that are linked to the campaign...

I do know that, looking at your post your the grump, if you want to send me anything else like this do it as a PM please.

Well this thread isn't leading me to my happy place. Good on QF for getting involved.

Yeah no. I think your posts on the thread discredit the claim that I am the grumpy one.

As for the request to PM you, I'll respectfully refuse that.

Weird though that QF didn't drop the letters altogether - they just greyed them out.

I see Australia Post has done a similar thing in some of its advertising - 'A' and 'O' removed (but no B :))

If you sound out Q N T S on its own it may well offend...

If a campaign generates queries/interest then it's mission accomplished.

Not so clever if people don't know what it is......and groan for the above.

The whole point is that people stop and consider what it means or why its happening. Then they try and find out. Its done the job perfectly

I'll be honest and say I actually thought it was part of a QF/AA promo thing, but I like the blood donation drive so much more :D

I agree. Someone at the Red Cross is earning their marketing salary. And well done Qantas for participating.

I like the idea, but I too had no idea what it was until I came across this thread. Like RichardMEL I thought it was something to do with American Airlines.

I would have thought that much more awareness would be raised if there was some sort of reference to the Red Cross on the QF website.
