New Qantas Double status credits offer (book by 2/9/26; travel 3/9/26 until 14/8/27)

Took a DRW - BNE flight this morning using a movie voucher for a paid fair to ensure Mrs Goosh and I reach platinum.

Check the app and it's shown as

QF 0827 DRW BNE
BUSINESS CLASSIC PLUS
FLIGHT REWARD

And only 38 SC .

I'm guessing this is some sort of glitch and will sort itself out.

It won't sort itself out, you'll need to talk to Qantas. Wait for the DSC to post before you contact them.

Thread 'Paid Qantas flights crediting as Classic Plus'

A lot of AFF members have reported over the past few months that one or more of their paid Qantas flights have credited as a "Classic Plus" reward, meaning Points Club members earn significantly fewer status credits (and I guess non-Points Club members would earn nothing?).

I've heard a few people say this happened only on the last sector of their booking, on a paid Business fare, and/or for bookings made during Double Status Credit promos.

Good to know that the movie screenings are still good for double length movies - I just booked an outback movie using the QBR DSC promo.

A booking I made was a day flying Mel-Bne-Cns-Bne-Mel. This had a 45min connection in Cairns.
I only noticed a change when checking my bookings as no correspondence from Qantas a yet.
My flight details have changed to:
Mel-Bne-Cns Bne-Mel
Hmmm I wonder how Qantas suppose I get my flight from Brisbane to Melbourne when I no longer have a flight from Cairns to Brisbane to get the flight down to Melbourne?

If you can’t fix online you should be able to call up and get it sorted. As it’s an involuntary change you can claim ORC.
