Good to see a Oneworld codeshare setup to Sri-Lanka, now we need a Oneworld codeshare to India!

Effective for travel from 26 October 2014*, Qantas will codeshare on SriLankan’s daily Singapore-Colombo service. Customers will be able to connect within 2-3 hours between Qantas operated international flights to Singapore and SriLankan operated flights to the country’s key hub, Colombo.

In turn, SriLankan Airlines will codeshare on Qantas’ daily services between Singapore and Brisbane and Melbourne, and double daily services to Sydney.

NEW CODESHARE DELIVERS MORE OPTIONS FOR QANTAS AND SRILANKAN AIRLINES CUSTOMERS

Still waiting for QF codes on AA, JL, CX trans Pacific and AA, IB, BA, AY trans Atlantic flights. Codeshares on BA, CX, JL, MH EU-Asia flights would be nice too.

I doubt you'll ever see QF codes on anything transpac nor EU-Asia since that would pull bodies off QF metal despite getting revenue share from the QF code. Having some transatlantic codeshares would make sense since QF don't fly there and some other intra-Asia would be good.

Perfect timing for a wedding I have to go to in January, now to wait until the flights load into the QF site

NEW CODESHARE DELIVERS MORE OPTIONS FOR QANTAS AND SRILANKAN AIRLINES CUSTOMERS

Thanks to being notified by Defurax in the cheap international fares thread, I booked a business class flight Singapore to London on the 14th Oct via Colombo, returning on the 28 Oct, with Qantas connections to and from Singapore. Whilst it isn't a QF number flight, it will be interesting to see what points and sc's I get.

The CMB-SIN segment on UL is not affected by the "fairer" system for SC earn, so only more points on offering if booked on the QF code. CMB-LHR has been simplified...

Edit: Actually, if booked in C or J QF code will earn more SC than UL.

Not sure what has happened, but have searched various dates in 2015 and can't find any UL codeshares for booking, only UL coded SIN-CMB flights (and of course EK/QF flights)?

Is this codeshare still existing?

Pretty good fares out of CMB to BNE/MEL/SYD/AKL being discussed on FT. Under $700 USD oneway J. Can be QF from SIN or MH from KUL.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
