Just reading this promo again, and I noticed this little spiel in the T&Cs.
"
Discount is 30% off Bed and Breakfast Rate"
So that raised the question for me being if it's being based on a B&B rate, does that mean B&B is the package deal? There's no other mention of it and altough +1 and I are supposed to receive breakfast, that doesn't necessarily mean the kids (although it always has so far).
The hotel I'm looking at (Kawarau, Queenstown) is about the same on the 20% room and dining promo and this 30% off promo (work out that logic) but the 30% may be better to ensure the whole family gets included breakfasts.....if it includes breakfasts

. The 20% may be better if the 30% doesn't include breakfasts (as I suspect it may not) as we'd get 20% off meals as well. I rang HH line and the lady there just couldn't work out what I was saying......she kept trying to sell me a B&B package they have on the same nights for NZ$330/nite (or similar, I very quickly lost interest in what she was saying). So right now, it seems I can get a room (2 required) for NZ$122/nite or thereabouts on either promo or 12000 points + NZ$59 = about NZ$0.005 a point = poor value normally, but with all the point reward changes, I'm not even sure about that assumption (but is marginally better than a straight point award).
Thoughts?
