That offer is specific to "resorts" - I don't think Melbourne counts, sadly!

Looks like Singapore is not included. Still looking for that bargin priced 5 star hotel to go with the cheap airfares that i bought on expedia.com.br

I have looked at room rates for those "resorts" on Hua Hin and Pattaya for July and September/October and nothing jumps up saying "Book me, book me".

I shall check again as 1 or 2 nights would be a nice treat if the price was right.

Will be booking 3 rooms at Hilton queesntown under this 30% offering, but as a question - are you better to reserve 3 separate rooms under 3 separate bookings or 1 booking with 3 rooms - result will be the same, but will one or other improve "number of stays" ? Sorry this may be in the wrong forum, but relates to both. Andrew

Not unless you book under different HH numbers. My experience is no additional stays/nights credit for multi rooms in the same hotel no matter which way you book as a single HH member. You should however, still get the additional spend going toward your base points (and applicable status bonuses)

Thanks Swanning - seems like a good deal anyway and we are lucky given they didn't add too many if not any in Australia. rgds Andrew.

Fiji is still showing for 2nd half of June - for anyone planning a NAN run and QF Double SCs.

Just reading this promo again, and I noticed this little spiel in the T&Cs.

"Discount is 30% off Bed and Breakfast Rate"

So that raised the question for me being if it's being based on a B&B rate, does that mean B&B is the package deal? There's no other mention of it and altough +1 and I are supposed to receive breakfast, that doesn't necessarily mean the kids (although it always has so far).

The hotel I'm looking at (Kawarau, Queenstown) is about the same on the 20% room and dining promo and this 30% off promo (work out that logic) but the 30% may be better to ensure the whole family gets included breakfasts.....if it includes breakfasts . The 20% may be better if the 30% doesn't include breakfasts (as I suspect it may not) as we'd get 20% off meals as well. I rang HH line and the lady there just couldn't work out what I was saying......she kept trying to sell me a B&B package they have on the same nights for NZ$330/nite (or similar, I very quickly lost interest in what she was saying). So right now, it seems I can get a room (2 required) for NZ$122/nite or thereabouts on either promo or 12000 points + NZ$59 = about NZ$0.005 a point = poor value normally, but with all the point reward changes, I'm not even sure about that assumption (but is marginally better than a straight point award).

Thoughts?

I was looking at this Hotel or the Hilton proper myself in Sept, although it's a fair way out from Queenstown proper so I might check the Accor sale before I make up my mind where to stay. I saw some rates at Kawerau for $115 NZD for a basic King room with breakfast as part of this promo rate, which was fine for me as I'm only 1 up. If I can handle being a good 10-15 min drive on the other side of QT it may be ok.

Water taxi is available I believe and it's closer to the Remarkables I think.

The ones I have looked at have always specified breakfast in the rate description.

Yes water taxi might be the option, I have to drive to Invercargill (day trip) so the location works out ok for me.

Can't seem to find that $115 rate from a week ago ....

None for US Hiltons.

Anyone have a promo rate for Hiltons in the US of A? Looking at Doubletree Westside at LAX 1st week of June.

Thanks

Hilton ZQN is next to the remarkables shopping centre. I shopped at New World a few times when I was last there. It's around 10 or so minutes drive to town centre from the Hilton. Not too bad.

Once more, thanks for the tip!

Here I was trawling through the T&Cs fine print trying to find it and look what appears in the rate description:

Rate Details RESORTS EARLY SAVER

RESORTS EARLY SAVER 30 PERCENT OFF. BREAKFAST INCLUSIVE PREPAY 30 PERCENT. NO CHANGES, NO REFUND

Forgot to say, pretty bloody attractive price to be inclusive of breakfast.

Not to many bargains to be had in SIN, which is why I Jetstar it to KUL for a few days, or MH it to LGK.
