We are now proud to introduce a new feature - AFF Verified Airline Status.
If you choose to use this feature, your Qantas and Virgin Frequent Flyer Status will be displayed alongside your member details on your posts.
Full details are available in the link at the bottom of this post. But in summary, the AFF Verified Airline Status is an automated process: you provide your airline account details and AFF will automatically access the Qantas and/or Virgin websites to determine your status. Your status will then automatically be displayed.
This enhancement
offers some great benefits to you. In addition to the peer group recognition you will receive by displaying your status, it may well help you in obtaining a “Status Match” with another airline.
(As you may know many airlines offer a "Status Match" whereby they offer to match the status you have in one airline with the equivalent status in their program. In fact, the Australian Frequent Flyer has been approached by airlines requesting details of our members who are "Status Match" candidates. By having this information readily on-hand we could facilitate this process.)
The AFF Verified Airline Status is optional, and free for all our members.
