New CX Pier Business Class lounge opens!

I know this could probably be buried away in the CX forum, but thanks to ausbt check out the new Pier business class lounge! While the QF lounge was a step up from the previous CX offerings in terms of space, the Pier takes [business class] lounging to a whole new level Review: Review Cathay Pacific The Pier Business Class Lounge Hong Kong - Airlines | flights | hotels | travel tech | style | apps - Australian Business Traveller

Thankfully with the new lounge opening it will reduce the pressure on other lounges - they have been rather full.

thanks for posting MEL_Traveller - it looks really solid! Unfortunately I dont be able to use it next time I'm in HKG - I'm flying CX F into HKG, a few days in HKG and then out of HKG using SQ R.

My understanding is I wont be able to use Pier since I'm flying into HKG and can only utilise CX Arrivals lounge. Would love to hear how AFFs get to enjoy this amazing looking lounge though!

Correct - airside are departure lounges only, and you need a valid boarding pass (same day) to get there anyway.

We were in there on Saturday night before the CX161 for the soft opening of the lounge, and have to say it was very impressive.

I also visited on Saturday evening before QF30 and was thoroughly impressed. The fit out was first class and the tea lounge is a really nice niche addition. The wine and beverage selection wasn't amazing but then again neither is the Qantas lounge. Will easily be my first choice lounge when I revisit HK in August!

Mrs Lime and self like nothing better than a good old lounge hop in HKG and CX is top of the list
