new business class PJs

Hopefully get some next week. But as for the linked article, I must be among the 5% who don't wear them on board. But they are great for relax time at home :)
 
I'm hoping they still have some of the Rio ones for me next month
 
They only give them out for overnight flights.

Asked for PJs on a day flight to HKG recently (I could even see where they were stored) but they said they don't hand them out on day flights.

Looking forward to getting a new pair.

I've never not received them on a day flight.
Hope this isn't a new "enhancement" :rolleyes:

I flew to Santiago last Friday and the options where the old grey in medium or the green Rio ones in large. I went the Rio set because of the colour as I do keep them for home or to give to friends. Don't know if the option is on other routes.

I agree, PF.

I regularly travel SYD-JNB which is a 14 hour daylight flight and I always receive a pair of PJs. They are not just for sleeping, they are great for slobs like me that manage to spill wine and food everywhere.

Read a trip report yesterday where PJs were not offered on the day flight SYD-PVG and the passenger was told they aren't offered on day flights anymore (the passenger was given a pair as a 'special gift' just before landing). When I flew the route five or six years ago they were offered as standard.

It removes another choice for the passenger.

I wasn't given any of the now old PJs on a day flight MEL-HKG last month. I could see that they were onboard ready for the return flight back to MEL.
 
I have sent an email enquiry about the PJ's for my flight this week (5.15 pm departure).
Will report back if I hear anything
 
I got a reply stating that as the flight is in the evening I will get PJs.
I didn't ask a general question about them though just my specific trip.
