New Bonus points partners until 31/3/2010

I was looking to do the same for a December Hong Kong trip, but instead topped up some points on Flying Club with the 20% points bonus and booked tickets through there.

You manage to get multiple award seats to Hong Kong in December and I can't get any type of award seat coming back from Hong Kong at end of June 2010.

Had a booking through hoteltravel.com that I cancelled with no fee after seeing hotelclub.com.au promotion with Amex (5 bonus points per $), hadn't used that site before. But with bonus points, a $250 AUD saving over the 7 night stay, and credit towards the next booking as well, it worked out quite well.

I was told no Amex bonus points with HotelClub unless booking via HotelClub.com.au/Amex and as far as I am aware you should not be getting credit towards the next booking using this webpage.

Why the silly terms and conditions and lack of consistency with any of these stupid bonus partners....

Took a bit of waiting for the seats to open up. Booked premium ecconomy there and ecconomy back for 3 adults 1 child, then as they opened up managed to upgrade to what I wanted. Still waiting for 1 more upper class ticket, I gather the award allocation will be used up with the 3 I booked so it may be a last minute upgrade.

Totally missed the "/amex" link on the offer, so I guess that means I miss out on the bonus points too. Points haven't posted yet for that transaction, will have to keep an eye out and see what happens, pretty sure I know the answer though

Just doing my daily check to see if there is an upgrade opportunity for the final upper class ticket I need, and looking in June at random dates and cabins there has been availability on everything I've entered (only about 8 random entries admittedly) so it may be worth checking again johnk

Yeh I nearly got caught out with this one too when I was booking - lucky I double checked before booking and typed in the /amex URL, would've been annoyed if I'd booked then realised and not got my points!

Such a good offer, all the hotels are on there to choose from, and the prices are really competitive compared to all of the other online booking sites -and 5 bonus points makes the points add up so quickly! Got like 5,000 bonus points just for a few nights accommodation. Highly recommend this one

Thanks. Unfortunately there is only 1 date in June HKG-SYD that interests me and it is not available in any cabin

Yes well I am pretty annoyed - at myself! I can cancel the booking and rebook for a $17 fee. But I can't be bothered unless the hotel rate changes, between the credit you get for the next booking, and the fact I MADE $80 when cancelling my hoteltravel.com due to it having been billed in USD, I'm not really that much worse off.

I checked the rates for my intended hotel stays for Feb, but the rates were no good. Disappointing!
