New Amex statement credits

Credits come through yet @tinkybelle? What was merchant name?

Oddly, my transaction posted just now as the winepeople. Last time the merchant was the australianwine and the credits posted from winepeople.
I purchased on The Australian website. Debit came through as TheAustralianWine.com.a and the 2 credits as Wine People Pty Ltd.

De Longhi get 10% back every time
SIXT spend $400 get $50
Four Seasons spend $300 get $60 2 x

I got the Aussie on too. I don't understand the point of it though. It's hardly enough to make you swap providers. What's the motivation for a company having such an offer?

Aussie previously hasn’t accepted Amex so I think it’s more trying to encourage existing subscribers to change their direct debit to an Amex card.

Yes, this is the conclusion I reached. I have been a customer for six years and grudgingly accepted the lack of Amex for their other benefits. So this offer (on my primary Edge and wife's primary Plat, but no supps or Reserve) alerted me to the change in policy.

I paid the minimum spend on the Edge and received the email shortly after; I've now switched direct debit over to the Plat and should hit the spend next month.
