New Amex statement credits

Slow start, or normal start?

I don't think that we can expect the Nov?Dec pre-Xmas shopping flurry to be continued at that pace throughout the year as much as we might wish it to.

Last few months were crazy. I spend thousands on gift cards and other "discounted" deals. We may think we get incredible value from all those AMEX offers when we look at how much we "saved" each time we purchase something but in reality we are just pawns in their master game plan.

I do miss Shop Small tho :p

At least something has appeared -

Amex Travel Online - Spend 200 get 50 back (excludes flights)
WW Online - Spend 100 get 10 back
Microsoft - Spend 300 get 60 back

Currently only on my Edge
Does seem odd for the Charge to be left out given the fee
Looks like Amexconnect has all bar the amex travel one though

6 cards and all had Amex Travel, Woolies and MS. None had TGIF, but then there aren't any TGIF in QLD so maybe that is why I didn't get that offer.... although I've had other offers for non-QLD businesses... go figure.

+1 Reveived Woolies, TGI & Amex offers.

Amex travel offer will be put to good use

Does anyone know if booking a car hire through Amex Travel means the rental will be prepaid rather than paid on pick-up of car? I need to rent a car for early March so this offer will only be useful to me if it's prepaid.

Good Question.

Pretty niche offering, but if you are already registered for the Microsoft offer (which has now been fully subscribed) and can get access to a .edu.au email address, there is some good buying on Bose headphones - 20% off plus $60 cashback.

(From Ozbargain - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/287986 )

QC35s for example come down to ~$340.

I'm tempted, but have restrained myself.

I have two free amex's (ie. not paying a fee). what is my chances of getting another amex card maybe one with a fee?

Is the limit 2 for one person for amex amex?

This isn't the correct thread to be asking this. But no one can answer your question without knowing which cards you have already.
