I can forgive the seating layout if they keep serving this quality of food. Had the schnitzel last time and loved it. I must see if Adelaide is on the radar for another visit. My first and final visit to the new Business lounge before I drop to Lifetime Gold

In Qantas lingo I'd say the lounge is "not match fit".Adelaide’s new Qantas Business lounge is certainly not going to stand the test of time. Just seen this.

That could be someone's private stash waiting for their return!I happened to find where all the paper towels from QF lounges across the network ended up - stashed at the back of the smaller compartment of a bathroom cabinet after I took out the "clean" bath mat and one of the towels

It is match fit, and to purpose. In Qantas lingo I'd say the lounge is "not match fit".
100% success then. It looked disgusting. Green carpet still looked ok and the solid wood rather than the veneer furniture. Was still ok.What they put, is not the long lasting expensive stuff.
Good carpets would not allow things to seep into it, ie, the $$$ spillproof.
They did the el cheapo, and also, part of it is that they are skimping on the cleaners duty, if they had a person who did floors vacuuming, even while the lounge is open, and had put in spill proof carpets, it could have been vacuumed up easily.
But I would say they have lumped the table cleaner to be the floor cleaner, to be the loo and shower duty cleaner upper, so it shows.
If they had consulted me, as a cleaner, I would have advised them for different items, more $$$, but long lasting.
Ta for the pixs tho, not unexpected.
Also, if they got a very very tight kpi for cleaners, tables also might not be cleaned up fast.
Next AFF person to go in, should time how long tables are cleaned up of plates, saucers, mugs, alcohol glasses, and tables wiped down.

Nah, its exactly as to specification, if you put in cheaps, that is what you get.
Same as hotel rooms, ...
Or school classroom furniture, its not like your own home, where you can put in the good stuff and it lasts.
They put in the cheap stuff, so damage shows.
Off course it is: first class location, first class catering, first class service! What more could we want? But please don't show us the state of the marble in the bathrooms!100% success then. Luckily Sydney First Class is still first class.
