Need to find a Qantas Club corp. program

Fortunately my company already has a corporate plan in place so I will not need to go through FF.com.au

FYI our corp plan includes no joining fee and $143 per year - a very good rate if you ask me.

Yes, we do! :D

Later today I'll be contacting all those who expressed interest with what needs to happen next.

If you have expressed interest and don't hear from me today, or if you want to join our scheme please PM me.

Hi

I have just checked the numbers again and unfortunately we are still 3 short. :(

There were a couple of duplicates, some who were only going to join later once their existing membership expires etc etc.

I have PM'ed the 7 people who expressed interest and, more importantly, are ready to apply now. If you didn't receive a PM from me and are interested in joining the scheme NOW (not later, we need 10 applications to set up the scheme) plesae contact me.

Just 3 to go...

Qantas Club corp. program

Time to bring this topic up again for any new people considering getting a QF membership...

As I understand it we are 3 short of getting enough people together to start AFF corp membership... Read through the posts to see how much you can save by joining through this website, I think it takes $200 off the first years fee...ie save the joining fee.

So if you are new to this site, read through this thread, and register your interest.

Cheers

Any chance this program will be up and running before November? I could really do with reduced rate membership for my upcoming trip to Europe! :)

I hope so! We are still a couple of applicants short though.

So - if anyone is interested in joinging our Corporate program, please read the entire thread to see exactly what's involved. And then, if you are still interested, please PM me. Once we get 10 committed applicants we can apply for a corporate membership. From then on, as once the scheme has been approved, people can join at any time.

Could we plaster this offer in huge advert form across the front page? :p

I'd be willing to design a banner etc. if necessary (I'm a Uni student - I have lots of free time ;))!

Just a thought. Everyone likes something for nothing. What if anyone that joins gets free silver (or Gold :D ) membership for a year?

Okay...it's time this thread had a serious revamp!

People...this is a good deal! Get on board NOW!

I'm in, and have already messaged admin - my current membership expires 11/07, and will need to renew then (unless I can sneak in the extra 150 SC's to get back to Gold again - I am sick of being a mere Silver).

(This post was made for no other reason than to get rid of that annoying message, saying "it appears you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few minutes.......")

"
We are now pretty close and just a few applicants short. So, if you are interested in being a "founding" member of our Qantas Club Scheme, read what's involved HERE. And then if you are interested follow the instructions. We just need a few more committed souls..."

Happy to advise that my soul is committed to being a founding member....

My membership expires in January. I am happy to pay for a further 2years at any time through this scheme if it helps.

I have been a Qantas club member since 1993. My status has dropped back to Bronze (I think?). If I transferred my membership would this achieve the following?

push you another step towards the critical mass of 10?
help me qualify for the corporate rate?
involve any transfer fees?
involve any loss of existing privileges?

Please check with Admin's original and subsequent posts, but my understanding is
1. Yes
2. It would be at the Corporate Rate (i.e. $200 discount)
3. Don't know - I suspect not as you are alrady a QC member
4. AFAIK no.
Doug

1. If you are already a QC member, then at present it doesn't help as you need 10 new members to initially start the corporate group.
2. Once the group is established, you will be eligable for the corporate rate
3. No
4. No
