I have only flown once on JAL, but managed 35.5k points for the one SYD/NY rtn trip. These points are due to expire at the end of this year, and the closest destintations (requiring the least amount of points) are Tokyo/Osaka which require 40k rtn. So as you can see, I'm nearly there with points.
So without any plans to fly JAL again soon (on a paying ticket), can anyone recommend a way to generate these much needed top up points?
I believe, miles flown on BA can count towards the JAL mileage bank. If this is the case, I have a OW RTW ticket booked for May this year, flying mainly BA (and 2 QA sectors). I'm wondering if its possible to nominate a certain sector's 'milage points' to go onto my JAL mileage card, and the rest of the trip to default to my QFF ? would BA be prepared to do something like this?
Cheers,
