NAB QF Rewards Signature card application questions

Has anyone signed up during the period NAB were offering 75 SC for signups, and actually received those SC?

I received my 100k points 3 weeks ago but no sign of the SC yet.

Looks like they are really staying still with the $295 first year AF, $395 thereafter with the 100K points deal. Hasn't changed much for a long time. Also with the higher credit limit (15K), it would take cancelling all but one of your 3-6K cards to get approved I think.
Not sure if I was approved for just having my home loan with NAB (package) or not, but I was approved with a $2k limit on my Amex.

Multiple existing credit cards will kill your monthly cashflow as they assume you use the entire credit limit; doesn't matter if you have a history of never defaulting, always paying monthly full amount

Im not sure that is always true. I got this card earlier this year whilst having a Amex and Mastercard each with a $15k limit, so adding in the Visa brings me to credit cards totalling $45k combined limit.

I had however cancelled SGB Visa with a $15k limit and made sure the cancellation showed up on my credit report before applying for the NAB Visa.

I had a similar issue recently when applying for WBC QF Black. Westpac kept saying I had a ~6 cards open when really all were closed, some over 2 years ago. I've now realised it's due to bad data on my credit file where these closed cards don't have a 'close date' listed instead showing "Not specified" etc. You can submit dispute to Illion per card to ensure they close them off. This takes 4-6weeks IME. Credit Simple - See your credit score and credit report for free. <- (Part of Illion).

Good Question- was wondering the same myself Up until only a few days ago.
I Received the bonus 75SC approx 1 month after the 100k bonus points landed.

A latecomer to the 100k QF Signature offer here... usually people go from conditionally approved to fully approved in 24-48 hours right?

Edit.. nvm saw the earlier responses in this thread. So about 1-2 days pretty much with a few exceptions. Clarified with Customer Service how to correctly upload the payslips, and they said it was good to go yesterday. Now... waiting.

Is there a way telling which transaction count towards the qualifying spend (and attract QF points?) either in the app or on the statement?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.

Does anyone remember if this offer from last year had Lounge invitations attached? My recollection is that it did (which is why I have been holding the card for a while).

When I called them to have the invitations added to my Qantas account they claimed that invitations were never offered and transferred me to Qantas!

Don't think I've had QF lounge invites from a NAB card for some years. From memory ANZ, Westpac, Amex and Qantas Money are the main players who offer them.

Last saved copy of application/advertisment I have is from Jan 27, 2020. No mention at all of free lounge passes.

But why don't you check the copy of the advertisement you kept?

Clearly I didn't keep the advertisement.

Thank you for the first part of your reply.

Clearly I didn't keep the advertisement.
No, that wasn't clear at all to me, especially as you indicated 'offer from last year '. At no stage did you indicate that you had not kept a copy of the original offer or could not locate it via the internet. There were at least 2 separate offers from NAB in 2020 that I was aware of. You could have been referring to any of those. Hence why I clearly specified that date of the advertiement that I was referring to. Your advertisement/offer may have been entirely different to that of January 27, 2020.

It may be very timely to remind everyone of the consistent advice that has been provided in these threads bu a number of AFF memebrs:

1) Keep a copy of the original advertisement.
2) Keep a copy of your application.

Things do/will go wrong and you'll need these to sort out future problems. You must expect that if you aren't prepared to keep these this will have an impact on your claim.

BTW, I applied under the 75 status credit promotions they ran late 2020. Still no SC. I rang Qantas last month, they contacted NAB, NAB contacted me, told me they having issues releasing the 75sc with Qantas, they offered me 75,000 points instead, I say no, please send me the sc. Still waiting.

I forgot about the 75 SC NAB owned me for a while, and just remember now. As I don't need the SC anymore, I called NAB, got someone from the reward team, very friendly. I explained I still didn't receive the 75SC , and said I was happy to take the 75k point they offered earlier this year, instead of the SC that seems to be hard to get for NAB at this stage.

I even kindly ask for an extra 15k because this has been a bit of a long process. To my surprise, 90k granted, and posted overnight.

NAB is the latest credit provider to whom I have decided to give my love. They want me to pop into a Branch (they all close at 4pm!) to verify my identity. This, despite loading details of my passport, driving licence and Medicare card online. Honestly, if they are not going to verify online with all three provided, what is the point in even asking people to enter the stuff electronically?

In the case of passport/DL, it's for verifying your identity on the credit agency end to complete a credit check. I don't know if Medicare can/is used for that also.
