Credit Card Offers NAB Qantas Signature Visa card - $250 cashback and 100,000+30,000 Qantas points

Just got approved, took a week because they didn't like me redacting some account info on my uploaded statements. 100,000 points for $70, happy days are here again.

Tried to apply but rejected before I even got to putting in financials!! Anyone else had that happen?

Could it be because this is my third time around so now "computer says no"??

I had this happen when I applied a couple of months ago. Rang up and was told it was a website issue. Did the application over the phone and approved.

I applied via the website and got approved within ten minutes, however I bank with NAB and they have a clear line of sight to my various holdings across investments, savings and daily transactions.

I've switched from the ANZ FF Black card which I held for two years but the main reason for going back to a NAB CC is the 130,000 FF bonus points, as the ongoing point per $ earn is not great after the changes in October. I

Recently applied for this card and was rejected, without even getting to the income section!
Have I been blacklisted for previous churning,? anyone else have the same experience?

For some reason even though I'm an existing NAB customer and the application pre-fills all my details, when I go to submit it gets an error saying "Something went wrong. We couldn't verify your personal details."

You'd think the banks with their billions of profit each year could afford a half decent IT system.

After almost an hour on hold (with many patronising messages about how it's much easier to apply online and you can do everything yourself online), I finally got through to speak to someone who said I needed to go into Internet Banking on a computer and verify my identity, then go back and re-do the application.

I asked him to wait while I try it, in case I have any issues, but he said he had to help other customers and that I could always call back if I faced any issues. Found that quite rude and poor service.

Anyway, I go check in Internet Banking and of course my ID is already marked a verified, and there's no way to re-do this.

However the credit card application still gets the error that they cannot verify my identity details...

Perhaps this card is too much hassle for what it's worth.

I tried to apply for a NAB card months ago. The application form had “United Kingdom” in the drop-down box for International Address. However after adding my address it gave an error: “United Kingdom postcodes must be 10 digits and no letters”. Anyone who knows anything about UK postcodes will know that’s not true.

I raised a complaint and they just thanked me for my feedback and told me to apply over the phone instead. I wonder if it’s been fixed yet. They obviously wouldn’t get too many people applying with addresses outside Australia, so probably don’t care enough to bother fixing it.
