NAB Qantas Premium 75k bonus

There is no 12 month exclusion period. Go for it.

I've done it before with NAB and others including Macquaire.
Literally the following month after signing up?
I must admit that I'm very annoyed with them because they're making it incredibly difficult to setup a direct debit (which I suspect is on purpose so that I miss a payment and pay the ~20% interest).

Sounds great otherwise as I'm keen to get a QF F ticket released before my WP expires and needs points asap.

Don't forget, that if you are a NAB shareholder with 500 or more shares, you can get your CC fee reimbursed once you have spent $7500 on the card.:):)

What's the method to do this?

Shares have to be in exactly the same name as the card/account with NAB?

FYI I hit the $1500 threshold mid last week, and the 75K points arrived today. Fastest bonus I've ever had! The first statement only came out last week!

When was your annual fee charged?

Okay I just applied an received the following message;
-----
Your application is complete

Reference number: ######

Dear Coyote25

What happens next?
We will contact you within five business days if we need any more information.

We recommend that you print this page for your reference.

Now to wait and see what happens, haven't received an email yet.

Seems like a good card for the 75k bonus points and 1.5 pts AMEX although not great 0.5 Visa

Agreed on both points. I use my citibank signature card if Amex isn't accepted, otherwise the NAB amex card is used for everything.

Okay so 3 hours after applying I received a text saying I was conditionally approved and to check email. Email asked for last two payslips which I have now supplied.

I applied for this card on Monday, the system said
"Thank you for applying for a NAB Qantas Rewards Premium Card. We haven't been able to approve your credit card yet. We'llneed to take a closer look at your application, which can take a few days."

No email notification or anything.

Anyway, waited 24 hours and called up and quoted the application number, the lady on the service desk said it hadn't even been looked at, and if I can wait they can put it through to the assessor.
I said no problem and probably 30 seconds later, I was conditionally approved..

After that she said I have been given a lower credit limit than I applied for ($8,000). The funny thing is on the application I only applied for $6,000, ah bank, they never fail to make me laugh sometimes

Now I just have to give the the payslips, and hopefully I should be in business...

I've received the same reply as you did, will call up early next week and check what is happening. Fingers crossed they approve without question.

Called today and was told my application would be fast tracked. Hung up the phone and 30 minutes later received an email advising I was approved.

Unless I'm mistaken, 500 shares of NAB is worth about $14k!! :!:

I think I might stick to the annual fee.

Got my first statement earlier this month before hitting the minimum spend... I've now well and truly passed the minimum so am crossing my fingers the next statement brings with it a hefty bonus points haul.

I find NAB to be quite a good investment. 500 NAB have produced a div of $495 x 2 ($990) this year (or in 8 months if you purchased just before the div was declared. Add franking credits and the total grows to $1414.29 - around 10%. Of course if you bought them cheaper your investment is better.:)

I love NAB Credit Cards. As a NAB choice package customer - me and the wife - all our cards are fee free and NAB do not have 12 month exclusions for previous NAB cards. We simply each churn through the cards (both Velocity and Qantas offers) every 3- 6 months or so.

Can you use one membership between two (married) people or does it require a separate membership each?
