My Card prestige no longer available

What other card options are there in Australia for Priority Pass? Preferably 10 or more complimentary per year, not this 2-a-year meagre business.

I'll be cancelling my Prestige-Premier monstrosity before my next renewal in Feb 2027.

Amex Platinum only. There's also the new Revolut Ultra which offers an unlimited LoungeKey membership, no guest privileges though.

DP re the 4th Night Free I’ve put in 2 bookings already for stay dates next year that have been credited with the free night, just done one now for January, so if you have any travel coming up looks like we have until 1 Oct to use it for next year

Amex may get ideas and start slashing that benefit too, given there is no competition on the market. How dreadful.

They’ve done this to the Platinum in a few markets, I believe Germany and Canada

MyCard Prestige is officially being deleted from existence. Friend just got an email notifying them that from 1 Oct 2026, their Prestige Card will become a Premier Card. All Prestige perks are being deleted from 31 December 2026 onwards. Annual fees paid on the Prestige Card will be pro-rata refunded to match the Premier's $300 AF.

Of course the consultants would let it, this is exactly what the banks do !

I renewed in June. As soon as I get my pro rata refund I’ll be cancelling and applying for an AMEX Platinum card. Never had one before but I’m eligible after cancelling all AMEX cards 2 years ago.

Is anyone fighting for a full refund? If so, when do you plan to fight it? The product really is completely different to what we thought we were getting, and it's not really fair to assume that the benefits are consumed evenly through the year. For me, the 15 priority pass visits tend to be concentrated on one or two big trips with family and/or friends, and I haven't had the chance to use any in this current annual cycle.

I agree. I renewed mid May and have used almost no benefits of the new card year. What do you suggest?

I guess I can ring and ask for a refund and threaten to complain to the financial ombudsman if they push back.

I was thinking of trying the complaints email address and seeing if that yields anything - at least then there's a written record of my protest against the change? Only thing I'm not sure of is timing, as technically nothing has changed yet... Does that make it a bit strange to be complaining right now?
