Hi All,

Is there anyway to get 2 of the same cards with same account number? i.e. I have one at the moment but I want my wife to have one as well when she goes out to shop so I can have all the QFF points on 1 account.

Thanks,
K.

Will woolworths or caltex accept it as it will look dodgy heheh.

Ok thanks. Do I need to relink the replacement cards?
No. Fortunately, they are an exact replica. I've lost my card at the houses of a few family members now... ;)

They will... you can also request a replacement card (sent to your mailing address) and it'll keep the same number.

Has this changed? Some time ago I mislaid a card and was told I had to get a new form from a store and register it as a replacement.

Other than that, see here: http://www.australianfrequentflyer....edr-cards-crediting-one-39895.html#post660216

Not a problem, copy and paste your number from the T&C's of your email offer into 'Contents' here:

Free Online Barcode Generator

Select EAN-13 as the 'Symbology' and click "Make Barcode".

Right click the barcode generated, click "View Image" then print the barcode out and, voila! - you have a temporary 'card'.

Thanks serfty. Can anyone else confirm if I seelct replace card on the website, will I get a new card with the same account number???

Indeed you can now logon and request a replacement card, which keeps your old number. Takes about 7 days.

Yep just tried it and the temp card is the same number as my old card...

The new cards also come with "keyring cards".

Also the Woolworths credit card has your EDR card barcode on the back, so you can carry that and someone else can carry the actual card.

In the early days I just photocopied my wifes cards and glued it to the back of my card.

I was under the impression that the replacement card was always a new number, but I am guessing that the system has changed.

Seem to be the case as per earlier posts.

In any case, as posted you can make your own barcode using the following:

Given that the ink from the bar code on the EDR card rubs off with its insertion/removal from the credit card wallet, I decided on some reliability modifications when I got my last replacement card. Wide clear sticky tape now covers the bar code. No issues with the bar code readers and the abrasion issues no longer apply.

As I selected a paper replacement card and then registered it, the number on the plastic replacement card changed.

Happy wandering

Fred

You can also generate and print uor own barcodes:

Some interesting thoughts and good to hear that one is now able to get a replacement card.

I have kept the paper copies of the Everyday Rewards card from the application form and my parents and brother have the plastic card.

Interesting k3nnis that you want to put all shopping on the one card? Why? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to actively use as many legal Everyday Rewards accounts as possible for the various bonus offers they could generate?

FWIW the QFF accounts of my parents and my brother now all have over 5,000 QFF points and when I am ready I can transfer these into my account for use.

Hi johnk,

valid point. I may try and get a separate EDR for my wife. But not sure if we will get good offers...

I have an app on the iphone called Stocard in which I have scanned many cards including the EDR card. I can just open it and scan the barcode from there. I also have those nuisance cards like chemist cards etc that I certainly don't want to carry around stored there. I have attached a partial screenshot image.

Anther possible solution?Screen Shot 2013-05-04 at 9.44.32 AM.jpg

Edit - it also displays the number at the bottom

You won't know until you try. Alternate use of the cards.

We have 4 accounts in the family and we get some sort of offer at least once a week. I activate all offers but do not chase everyone. e.g 100 bonus points for $20 spend in deli, or 200 bonus for $35 spend on fresh meat are not worth unless one is specifically needs to spend that much anyway.
