Just letting you all know that bossreggie has made that $2,000 donation to the RSPCA, as promised. I have sighted the receipt.

Thanks again for that fantastic gesture!

I am really PROUD of everyone who donated to the cause and who took out a membership.

Thank you very much to Admin for his generosity. I PERSONALLY appreciate everyone contributing and I thank you all.

I have made a decision to match the contribution from AFF members $ for $ and I am grateful for all who have given.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to this appeal. Brisbane's RSPCA is going to need these funds! :)
I've been personally affected by the floods, but nowhere near as badly as so many others, nor as badly as the RSPCA. It is so heartening to see the thousands of volunteers helping to clean up, as well as all the donations of money, goods, food and water for volunteers.

Thank you all for your generosity! :)

I just want to add my thanks to admin and bossreggie for their generosity, and for the rest of the AFF team for making appeal a success.

Hey All.

As some of you know, I recently had the opportunity to get to know Jimmy Barnes and his family.

The Barnes Extended Family has released an album on itunes, with ALL proceeds going to the flood appeal in Queensland & Victoria. This is a tremendous gift to the people in the affected areas.

I have asked Admin if I can post the link on here and he has given me the OK.

The album is only $4.99 and it is a great listen. I would encourage you all to download it to help those in need.

Found an almost inactive credit card sitting with a good credit balance in it.We picked RSPCA QLD,Red Cross and Salvation Army appeals to clean up an old Altitude Westpac card for good.
I received 70 photos of the 2 Bunnings stores today that have been knocked out...that helps us appreciate what a flood does to anything in its path.

Guys,

Great to see such generosity and creative fund raising.

I have never had feelings like I've had here on the ground in the past week. To have received the help and support of total strangers in this way has been humbling*.

Earlier this week I snapped this picture towards sunset of two guys whom were making the rounds of the Milton business area. On the back of their ute they strapped their BBQ, they bought sausages, some drinks and just drove from site to site, delivering their sense of humour and cooking sausages. All week people have just randomly turned up and contributed.

Well done AFFer for making the contribution as well.

* My business went well underwater but is well on its way back to good health subject to the general economic recovery. Our family house were not affected. Many people are in far far worse off than me.
