More issues with AF

I was going to fly with these guys when I go to Paris later in the year. Not so sure anymore. on top of the crash into the atlantic the other year, I am not to confident anymore (I realise that this thought may be completly irrational as well).

I am interested to see what the outcome of this one will be. One of my last AF flights we had to abort takeoff because of a warning that the nr2 engine was on fire, which turned out not to be true...

Details a bit sketchy - but may have been some sort of electrical fire or overheating of cabin air system I would be guessing? Was obviously serious enough for a full-on aircraft evacuation.

Makes me glad that my trips into Africa have been booked on SN now rather than AF :shock:
