More "enhancements" to QF Chauffer Drive and Dubai Connect

As of yesterday any reference to CD has disappeared from my MMB page - however if I go directly to the customise your Journey page https://www.qantas.com.au/customiseYourJourney/controller/customiseYourJourney?recloc=xx_xx_ (where xx_xx_ is the booking reference), I can still see the transfers I had previously booked, so I'm assuming they are still in existence for now at least....

An update on outcome. Existing bookings not honoured. I was given 10,000 points compensation. I guess in $ terms, enough to cover the heathrow express in London and taxi at home!!!


Just an update on this: PM Red Roo two days ago still waiting for a reply

Oh dear, I just noticed this thread -- my chauffeur drive booking for an F AAward three days from now has disappeared off qantas.com, too. Very poor form on QF's part to (seemingly) cancel something -- without notice or any contact -- that has been locked in for weeks.

Off to try and sort this out...

I just tried this with my booking. My previously booked transfers are no longer listed, and furthermore, it now says "Sorry, you are not eligible to book a transfer to the airport".

I gave up trying to get any help over the phone with Qantas with this, after getting conflicting information from phone agents. (Poor service for someone flying First, even on an award). It would appear my chauffeur has been canceled, though. No offer of compensation. Was tempted to cancel the flight altogether and rebook my AAward on Etihad, but there's no availability.

I guess it's wait-and-see if I get a call from the chauffeur company tomorrow, otherwise I'm going to have to pay for a taxi. :)

I got a call from the chauffeur company confirming my pick-up time for tomorrow! No need to slum it in a taxi. I'll still drink all the extra champagne in the FLounge and on-board to make up for the last minute stress. :p

Noticed just now that the Chauffeur Drive button is back on my MMB page, and unlike in when I posted in August (post #18), I again have the option to add additional transfers to LHR/from SYD (although I don't actually need them which is why I never booked them in the first place).
