Anyone doing this to my bag would soon find a very snug place that it would fit.....

Unless, of course they are willing to pay for the very expensive medical equipment I carry with me..

So maybe you should put it under the seat in front or in the overhead locker above you ........

aaaah, previous poster mentioned moving peoples bags in the overhead locker.. One thing I will not tolerate is people just moving my bag. I got there first - don't touch it. Ever.
Other than that...knock yourself out.

I agree - I don't like my bag touched, though no problem with reasonable re-arrangement to fit something in. Keep in mind that perhaps my bag could be above someone else because my area was full - not my fault if I have to find somewhere else. I don't appreciate anyone crushing by bag, and I wouldn't do it to anyone else unless I knew they were abusing the system (eg economy passenger using the business lockers)

I assume you dont put your bag in someone else's spot then. Flying is not like being at school - its not the rules of the playground...

I assume you never sit in row 1 on 747 then?

Nope - never have ;) If I do on QF though I will put my one bag under the ottoman in front of me :p

The ones that really get on my goat are the passengers that put their bag in the overhead when they are in an "A" or "K" type seat.. and constantly have to get things from their bag during the flight!!!

Preplanning works people !

That's one reason I take an aisle seat - if needing to get stuff in or out of my carry on.

Even better is when the seat is both an aisle and a window seat at the same time ;)

I just remembered.. I have sat in 1A on a 744 300 from HNL to SYD..... Does that count ?

From memory the FA took my bag for me... and put it in the closet..

most of the time I just have to make the best of a bad situation... all my work flights are in whY....
Not many times I get to see the pointy end..

I do envy those who can get authorization for F.. and J...
I am sure my boss would send me Fedex if he could. :D

Ah but that isn't your locker. It is for everyone, to hang jackets, store shoes, etc. Would you move any jackets already hanging to make room for your carry on?

I think you will find the service and rewards are a little better if you fly DHL ;)

my point to all this, is there are some seats that have no overhead bin space and so pax may have no choice but to share space with fellow pax

Would that be a Frequent Parcel Program?

you get to bypass the security checks which means you can take as much water as you like

of course, this may only help if the flight is short - cardboard tends to not react well to liquid secretions
