GHA Discovery is about making your travels unforgettable, experiencing unique activities in authentic local settings and receiving recognition across 12 Global Hotel Alliance Brands with over 250 hotels, resorts, palaces and spas.

The GHA Discovery programme has been generated to recognise and reward our loyal guests and we believe that an amazing Local Experience is worth 1,000 loyalty points. So with that in mind GHA Discovery rewards travellers with amazing Local Experiences when you stay at a new GHA Discovery Brand or upgrade to the next membership level.

And of course GHA Discovery also creates a more relaxing and comfortable stay through hotel benefits such as complimentary internet, early check-in, late check-out, upgrades, and guaranteed availability. These benefits are increasingly rewarding with each new membership level.

I've been waiting for this to launch for a few months now - I registered my interest some weeks back.

Free internet at base level is pretty good - won't be so upset next time I end up in a citigate hotel!

I always stay at the citigate in Sydney as it is close to work.. I reckon i'd crack the 30 nights without skipping a beat at the moment!

For me it will be good when in Sydney and Brisbane.

Although the staff are getting to know me well now! been here that often!

As long as shareholder rates qualify for benefits it will be good.

Keep in mind that it is not actually a Mirvac program, but a program of GHA (Global Hotel Alliance), of which Mirvac is a member. The members include:
  • Anantara
  • First Hotels
  • Kempinski Hotels
  • Marco Polo Hotel
  • Mirvac Hotels & Resorts
  • Omni Hotels
  • Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts
  • Parkroyal Hotels
  • The Doyle Collection
  • The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts
  • Tivoli Hotels & Resorts
Mirvac includes Citigate, Quay West, The Sebel + a few others.

It does however replace their now somewhat old and outdated "many happy returns" program!

More information is now online: Loyalty Program

Seems more about local experiences than points collecting (although, I guess in some cases you'd still get FF points), although some of the expeiences look interesting.

Free internet and bottled water at the base level isn't too shabby.
