Hi all,

I need your advice. I am flying death star OOL - KIX in Jan. Flight arrives 6:20pm..

I would like to fly an ANA flight to Sapporo that night which leaves KIX at 7:50pm.. I know it's cutting it fine. If I am following ANA's minimum connection times correctly (can't post link) it states a mimimum connection time of 75min.. Any other had any experience in typical connections from JQ at KIX? Interested to hear your thought.

Cheers.

I am thinking that 75 minute MCT does not include collecting luggage and rechecking it.

1 hours and 5 minutes would be tight in any case, what with immigration etc.

I would be looking at a 3 hours or more ... assuming your inbound JQ flight is reliably on time.

GC_Engineer, can you update us on how your connection went??

From previous experience at KIX the immigration process was PAINFULLY slow - 2 hours the first flight and 1 hour the second time...

I do OOL-KIX monthly on the same flight and have a connection to OKA at 8:25pm which I make with a good hour to spare each time (including check-in with JAL. I haven't had drmikki's experience. Anyway, that's my anecdotal evidence.
