We came to Palenque for one reason - Palenque.

Mayan city dating from 200BC - 800AD

Palenque has some of the finest Mayan sculpture, architecture, inscriptions, jade, and tombs.

There is a fantastic museum on-site, access is included with your ticket. Definitely worth taking the time to visit.... not many did when we were there.

This German fellow really knows how to run a hotel and restaurant - beautiful meal.



The next morning it was back in the van and 2 hrs later we arrived at VSA to catch our 14th flight of the trip.

Kim Tours were wonderful, use them if you come here.

Enjoyed all our flights with AM... will happily fly them again.

We'd booked two restaurants for MC - Quintonil and Pujol .... recently named #22 & #20 in The Worlds Best 50...

Given it was a 9pm booking, we'd traveled all day, and the kids won't up for the endurance that is a tasting menu - we settled for the standard menu.

Yes, MXN. Prices aren't that red hot.... A$135 for tasting, A$15 for entree and A$30 for main look pretty cheap these days.

A few meals coming up here in MC and NYC were absoutely eye watering..
