Rosewood is super impressive. On par if not better than Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons .... we're certainly going to be staying at more of their properties.

They've got lots to choose from....

Christmas dinner, Rosewood SMA. We booked and pre-paid back in November... glad we did, it was full to the brim.

Boxing Day - we’d arranged a surprise activity for the kids which didn’t kick-off until later in the morning. This gave us our first chance to take a look around the hotel.

Not everyday you get to go horse riding in hills of Mexico.

On the drive to the ranch we passed another ruin - Cañada de la Virgen. Not Mayan - Otomí



This was awesome fun. We went up and down hills, across rivers, and along canyons.... the kids loved it!

Passed another random checkout on our way back to SMA - no big deal.



The Restaurant - this place was packed and they struggled with service - but the food was really nice. Worth eating here when in SMA

For our last day in SMA we hired a car/driver for a few hours to see the “Sistine Chapel of Mexico”

All good things come to an end ... it was time for us to fly to our next destination.



The drive back to BJX



Our next destination is Palenque ... we have to fly to VSA via MEX and then drive 2hr to Palenque.

We arrived on time and our pre-arranged car/driver was waiting ready to go.

We engaged private car/driver/guide with Kim’s tours for the whole three days... I would recommend doing this.



We stayed at Boutique Hotel, Quinta Chanabnal



We stayed in the Pres suite, the kids in junior suite.... it was pretty nice. Sorry, forgot to take photos of the kids room.
