Melbourne to Wellington and Auckland to Melbourne

Hi all,

i'm travelling in February on Qantas from Melbourne to Wellington and then Auckland to Melbourne back.

I know quite a few of you have travelled these routes before, does anyone have a review?

I think my auckland to melbourne is on the new 737-800.

i'm not really all up with the posting things yet.

The Wellington flight is a 734; you will have the main screen movie to watch. Standard economy seats. It's a very civilised time of day to fly.

The return is normal; QF026 fliys from LAX to AKL with a 747 and changes to a 73H at AKL, so seats are normally not pre-selectable. The 73H's on this route are less than a year into operation. Each seat has it's own TV screen.

With the Wellington flight, if you can a seat in the first two rows, you will get a portable DVD player for entertainment purposes.
