Is there room for one more? I'll be in MEL Tues-Thurs for the foreseeable future and have never attended any gathering.

Unfortunately Mal we have to pull the pin tonight also - I am off to PEK Thu morn and just got stuff needs doing.

As for drinkies b4 OT - go have a drink with Chloe in Young & Jacksons - it's a no-brainer - then tram out St Kilda Rd - damn I wish I was joining you.
 
If nothing else, there's Y*J's (Chloe) or the Pub at Fed square - a short tram ride or 15 minute walk to the venue.

I see if I can research Tuesday "Happy Hours".

The pub at Fed Square is 'Transport' - I love this place b4/aft footy - but it gets really crowded and rowdy - maybe not so much Tue nts not sure - Y & J will be more civilised for a chat

There is still Royce Hotel on St Kilda Rd - 10min walk to OT - go have a drink with Derryn or is he in Canberra at moment? But be warned they no longer serve CUB beers at Royce so I have blackballed them. But it is still most convenient.
 
I can't make it to the OT but can meet up for a pee dinner drink or two.
I'll keep an eye on the thread to see where that will be.

Pee should be pre.
