Hi All,

I have QF132 AKL-MEL booked (last leg of a LONE4), and I'm looking at a MEL-ADL-PER award flight home.

QF132 arrives at 9:00, with the MEL-ADL flight leaving at 12:10.

I've only done the MEL int-dom connection once before, over 10 years ago, so I'm a bit out of touch.

Would anyone be able to advise if 190 minutes would be enough to do the transit?

Cheers.

Assuming your AKL flight is on time that should be plenty of time. When you come out of the customs/quarantine area you will see an up escalator off to the left. Take that and you will magically appear in the QF check-in hall. (I'm assuming that you are continuing with QF.)

Thanks for your comments guys - will make the booking.

Am hoping it goes ok - I'll be coming off a LHR-HKG-AKL then AKL-MEL the next morning, so the smoother the better on the last legs home.

You should be able to get your bags tagged through to PER at AKL (Check in with copies of all e-tickets).

Then you should simply need to do the "Bag Drop" at T1. I'm not sure how this works these days since the renovations.

That is heaps of time. I allow 3 hours at Sydney, and 2 hours at Melb. Have run 70 mins late off LAX leg into ML before and still made my domestic flight 50 mins later no probs. Easiest transfer in Oz I reckon!
