I need to arrive in SIN on the 17th (although 16th would be fine too if it's a lot cheaper). Ideally I would like to leave on Monday 21st but it could be the 22nd.

there's some promo fares on Malaysian Airlines from SIN to MEL - all day on the 20th (latest depature around 9pm) for SGD360 - About AUD350.00. Might be worth snapping one up if you don't mind leaving on the 20th (and flying Malaysian).

Combine this with one of the cheapy flights ex DUB, MXP (Milan), CDG (Paris), and you'll get home for not much more than $1200. Flying out of CDG on the 15th, there's some < $700 flights on Qatar and Srilankan.

So $350 + $700 + $150 (MAN-CDG) = $1200.

What have you found so far? Still the same dates? I'm in the UK at the moment and have found flights for later this week very expensive :(

Found (and booked!) a flight this morning from MAN to SIN with Saudi Arabia airlines for $700AUD! Very pleased with that as I was struggling to find anything under $1000AUD previously.

Anyone have any info on Saudi Arabia airlines? :shock:

Still haven't booked SIN to MEL but it seems like flying on the Tuesday is much cheaper.

No idea about Saudia - saw the flight when I was looking earlier but discounted it as there were at the time, better options. You'll have to report back on it.
