Is it just me or is the Domestic J lounge a bit of a joke in MEL?

I guess it's nice they have one, unlike PER, but it's always over crowded. Is there a plan for an upgrade on the radar?

Overcrowding, I guess it depends on the time of day. I've seen the SYD J lounge at standing room only. FWIW i don't have trouble getting a seat in the mornings.

I am generally there on a Thursday. I am either on the 6Pm or 7PM flight and never have an issue getting a seat - generally at the island dining seats and generally the seats with power points. The service desk crew are great, bar staff excellent and the serving staff variable.

Must be the time of day. I for some reason also can't remember a single time when the MEL J lounge hadn't been overcrowded to the brim of capacity. Then again... I don't end up in Melbourne quite that often.
