Now many AFFers who do not attend MEL get togethers might just look from the outside and think these are nothing more than drunken social orgies - nothing could be further from the truth - these are civilized social evenings where after a few light refreshments a considerable amount of deep, meaningful, inciteful and intelligent conversation takes place.

Pearls of wisdom such as offererd by LinaLateLee after a couple of convivials that she was first to arrive so she should subsequently be referred to as LinaEarlLee! And later on when the Long Haulers were still aboard and discussing how Hughseys '82 Bordeaux was older than some attending pax perk requested pax born before 82 to raise their hands and pax born after 82 to raise their hands Inclusivity is name of the game at MEL AFF pageants.
