Actually the Sofitel is more expensive for the 23rd ($264) vs 16th ($259)...Just saying ...its not much , but still cheaper.

It wasnt when we picked the date (which was quite some weeks ago), nor was HSW. The difference was significant.

Anyway, organisers perogative to pick the date so it is what it is. If people can attend, great. If not, we'll miss you.

Details!

Venue: Ludlow Bar and Dining Room
Building 3, 6 Riverside Quay
Southbank Melbourne

Time: not yet determined but expect it to be 7pm

Cost: $77 per head for three courses

All drinks, tea and coffee will be at your own cost. They do not have a cash bar, but each person will be able to set up a tab with the wait staff.
A gentle reminder that I will not be covering the cost of anyones drinks so please do not attempt to "skip out" on your bill.

The venue also asks that all attendees dress appropriately; neat attire is required, and thongs and tank tops are not permitted in the restaurant.
To secure your place, a payment of $77 will need to be made to the usual bank account. Details can be found in the spreadsheet. Your place is not guranteed until payment is received.
This event complies with AFF policies regarding collection of funds. If you cancel more than 7 days before the event, you will receive a refund. After that, your payment is non-refundable as your place will have been confirmed with the venue.

This event complies with AFF rules.

Per the guidelines on collection of funds, you need to list the cancellation policy/event cancellation policy with regards to refunds. I can't see you having any excess funds or administrative charges as they are just going into a bank account, but transparency might help. You also need to edit your post to link to the community announcement as I have.

Post edited.

I do actually have admin charges from my bank for this account, but usually cover those myself...

Bring on Christmas!

If anyone is uncomfortable editing the wiki, then just post in the thread and I will do the updates.

I have updated the wiki to this post for the platinums.

Should the list not be held for those that have confirmed ie paid? Or can it be divided into paid, and coming but not paid?

I have now paid the deposit for the venue, so if those that are attending could start making payments it would be most appreciated.

Ok. I am a late starter for this. I need to check air fares etc, but as Mrs GPH is skipping out again this Xmas (on the 23rd as it happens) I have decided that being amongst friends is better than being amongst family (LOL). So put me as Gold warming to Platinum.
