Maybe TAM, not Qatar to join oneworld

TAM award flights have disappeared from United Mileage Plus - FlyerTalk Forums

There has been speculation about a major announcement from oneworld in a week or so:

Speculation has been it may have been for Qatar, but the above scuttlebutt makes TAM more likely.

Had to happen eventually, as there was that other airline in *A wasn't there and they weren't allowed to be in the same alliance as it.

Perhaps the only good news for OneWorld in a while.

Had to happen as LAN amalgamated with TAM and LAN is One World. Good for me as I have some TAM flights later this year
